The Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants
COMEAP is an expert Committee that provides advice to government departments and agencies, via the Department of Health's Chief Medical Officer, on all matters concerning the effects of air pollutants on health.

In the 2010 report 'The Mortality Effects of Long-term Exposure to Particulate Air Pollution in the United Kingdom' COMEAP presented calculations of the overall size of the potential effects of particulate air pollution on mortality in the UK.

Review of evidence on health aspects of air pollution – REVIHAAP Project: Final technical report
The report presents detailed answers to 24 questions on the health aspects of air pollution of relevance for the review of European Union policies. The answers were developed by a large group of scientists engaged in the WHO project.
