The Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants 

 

 

COMEAP is an expert Committee that provides advice to government departments and agencies, via the Department of Health's Chief Medical Officer, on all matters concerning the effects of air pollutants on health.

The website provides access to Documents provided by the Committee in the form of  statements, reports, meeting papers and minutes. Find out more about the Membership of COMEAP and the work that we do.

The Secretariat for COMEAP is provided by members of the Air Pollution and Climate Change group within the Toxicology Department of Public Health England's centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards

 
The Air Pollution and Climate Change group is currently recruiting for two positions:
  

Toxicologist (asthma)

To work on allergens leading to asthma and other inflammatory lung conditions and the effect of genetic differencies leading to susceptibilities
